Daniel Rose is an experienced Mediator, serving all of California. Mr. Rose conducts both in-person and remote (Zoom) mediations. Mr. Rose has a stellar reputation for getting cases settled and for his ethics and professionalism. Mediation comes naturally to him and he takes great pride and pleasure in facilitating the amicable resolution of claims and disputes.
Mr. Rose also brings to the room four decades of litigation experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide range of subject areas in both State and Federal Courts. Mr. Rose is a former partner with Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein and the founding principal of the Law Office of Daniel H. Rose in San Francisco. While Mr. Rose’s most recent practice focused primarily on representing plaintiffs in personal injury and product liability claims, he has a considerable history working in defense firms representing insurers, small and large businesses, banks and individuals in insurance, commercial, real estate, personal injury, intellectual property and other areas of litigation.
As In-House Counsel at Bank of America, Mr. Rose also played a significant role in the implementation of the bank’s Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) program.
Mr. Rose has for years consistently been voted a SuperLawyer by his peers.
MEDIATION SERVICES FEE SCHEDULE
Professional Fees (Four-hour minimum):
In-Person hearing: $500 per hour
Remote hearing: $425 per hour
Preparation time (e.g., document review) and any extra-hearing work (e.g. teleconferences with parties): $300 per hour
Payment for four hours of professional time must be received prior to commencement of mediation hearing.
Initial advance fee of $250 per party, applied to professional time. (Refundable if mediation canceled or rescheduled 7 days or more prior to mediation hearing to the extent professional preparation time not already spent on matter.)
- Unused session time is non-refundable.
- All fees are due and payable upon receipt of invoice.
